The Research Process with Charli AI
Step 1: Collect Content
The Charli AI Research report begins with a Project. Gather all of the resources to be analyzed by Charli, and Charli will refer to this information to write the final report. Use the Google Search integration and Charli will bring back up to 70 summarized articles based on keywords entered.

Consider the questions you need to be answered. Take a housing market report, for example. Here are some questions to consider in identifying content for the report:
- What is the general consensus on California housing market trends in 2023?
- How did the pandemic affect the San Francisco vacancy rate?
- What are the fastest-growing cities in California?
- What impacts their growth?
- Will California housing prices continue to fall in 2024?
- Which cities present the best California real estate investment opportunities?
The goal is to answer these questions with resources. This may include government websites, real estate thought pieces, broker resources or blog posts, or long-form content surfaced by Charli in an AI-powered Google search.
Step 2: Refine & Review Resources
Make note of your report framework and the content needed to write the report. Double-check that the content within the Collection matches the report criteria. As you skim through, continue to use the Note feature to keep track of interesting topics to eventually extract from the Project.
Step 3: Enter topics to extract report content
Entering topics tells Charli to search the entire Project for specific information. Charli uses this information to write a paragraph on the topic, and we call these paragraphs Highlights. Topics can also be thought of as each section of the final report. Enter multiple topics separated by commas to build the entire report within Charli. Charli will generate all of this information into the body of the final report. Read this article for tips on entering a successful topic.
Step 4: Generate Report
Now it's time to send the report to your inbox. Use the generic Basic or Market Report template if desired. Contact us to generate information to your preferred document template or application.
