- How does Charli keep my data secure?
We are using state of the art privacy and security services from Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to protect your interaction with Charli. We use your Google Account to authorize Charli and therefore we don’t manage your password. All your documents are stored in your Google Drive.
- Is my data shared with any third party?
We don’t share your data with any third parties unless it is a third-party service required for Charli to operate, such as an Optical Character Recognition software. The data is only used for the specific service and is not shared with any third party that could use it for other means than improving the performance of the service provided to our users. We do not sell your personal data or personal information ever.
- How private is my data?
Your data is handled through secured APIs and therefore protected against unauthorized access. For the duration of the beta phase, a copy of your documents are stored in Charli and deleted manually from time to time. When the beta phase ends, all user data will be stored in Charli temporarily and discarded after processing, document and other information when only be stored permanently in the user's GoogleDrive.
- In what country is my data stored?
Currently, all data is stored in the United States.
- Is Charli sharing my data with other users?
No, your user data is safely guarded by Charli and no other user has access to it unless you ask Charli explicitly to share a document on your behalf.
- Can other users see my documents?
No, your documents are guarded by Charli and no other users have access to it unless you ask Charli explicitly to share a document on your behalf or you share that document to them via Google Drive.
